NAIDER CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS (CNEA)
The NAIDER Center for Environmental Economics and Sustainability, founded in 2004, has the goal of working toward development and pushing toward knowledge in the area of the economics of the environment, supporting and injecting dynamism into the efforts made by public and private agencies (environmental agencies, universities, research institutes, technology centers, and others).
To do that, it offers first-class consulting on the following subjects:
- environmental planning and promotion,
- environmental strategies and policies,
- the economics of the environment,
- economic modeling of the environment and policies, and
- the instruments that favor environmental sustainability and sustainable development.
In these fields our work is outstanding in the area of the economics of water, environmental taxation, eco-labeling, the analysis of environmental markets, and strategies for fighting climatic changes and polluted soil, among others.
